2000-2012
In the spring of 2000, Glen Sawyer completed a 2 year Business Administration course from Centennial College. Shortly after, he secured a job with a well known renovation company that was established in 1981. Within five years, Glen was promoted to a management position. Within 8 years, Glen was promoted to a senior management position which he held until 2012. After more than a decade in the renovation business, Glen decided to start his own renovation business and Durham Renovators Incorporated was born.
2012-2019
Durham Renovators Inc. was a success story right from the beginning. The company was booking new projects at a rapid pace. The projects included: bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, basements, decks, painting, flooring, millwork, windows, doors, roofing, and more.
present day
After successfully completing/overseeing over 2000 home renovations over the past 19 years, Glen realized a trend. Approximately 50% of his business was coming from bathroom renovations. In order to meet the demand of his clients, Glen has established SAWYER BATHROOMS, which is a division of Durham Renovators Inc..
